How to 100X your life
What Does Investing in Kingdom Values & Habits Mean?
Kingdom habits are the key to unlocking a life of spiritual growth, joy, and abundance. These disciplines may not bring immediate pleasure, but by consistently practicing them through the grace of God, you'll find long-term satisfaction and a more fulfilling existence. Invest in your long term happiness!
Discipline isn't just a buzzkill, it's actually a secret weapon for experiencing long-term joy! By saying goodbye to fleeting, unsatisfying thrills with the help of God's grace, you can strike it rich with a life overflowing with fulfillment and abundance.
Kingdom values are the values of the Kingdom of God. We invest in faith, prayer, and righteous habits so we can experience the fruit of a righteous life. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Only the gospel and it’s truth brings lasting peace and joy. God has made this so simple, the answer is Jesus always. Invest in the kingdom. It will bring 30, 60, 100X what you invest.
It doesn’t matter what the question is. The answer is Jesus.
Ephesians 5:15-18 TPT
So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. [17] And don't live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God's will. [18] And don't get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
How to Develop Kingdom Values & Habits that Matter
What you focus on, matters. What you devote your mind to matters. You can’t focus on social media for hours a day and expect to be spiritually deep and satisfied.
Leave the corrupt and limited thinking of this age and world and live for something real and valuable. Be powerful not swayed by flash and flair but substance. I want real depth, discipline and focus in my life. I’m convinced our bodies and minds crave it.
how do we get started?
Prayer and the word.
Waking up earlier for even 30 mins to pray would be good place to start. You can even turn your commute into an intentional time of worship. Turning off the tv and praying will make you feel happier even if initially it doesn’t feel inspiring to pray.
Good habits rarely feel good at first but then the enjoyment doesn’t stop. immediate gratification habits feel good right away but you feel emptier later.
As a general rule, if it’s immediately gratifying, it’s rarely worth much time. The best things take faith and patience.
Do you want to feed on garbage and trash or do you want to eat the finest food the King has to offer?
Isaiah 55:1-3 NLT
"Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink- even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk- it's all free! [2] Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food. [3] "Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.
Exercise
It rarely feels great when you get started, but the consistent kingdom habit of exercise improves your mood and well being. Christians get to be the most excellent people on the planet by the power and grace of God.
We can be excellent in exercise if we partner with God and ask for grace to move forward. My recommendation is a routine with weights or high intensity interval training which mixes cardio and body sculpting workouts.
That’s about all I will say about exercise. Paul tells us exercise has some value but godliness has value in all things (Business, fitness, health, Mental benefits, Parenting, relationships). Exercise but put the Kingdom first.
The Benefits of Investing in Kingdom Values & Habits
Galatians 6:6-9
7Â Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.8Â For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.9Â And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Spiritual disciplines give us reaping capability. As we sow prayer, meditation, exercise and other positives, we can reap great kingdom influence and power.
When you meditate on miracles and the goodness of God, you compound those experiences in your life. thats why the Bible constantly encourages us to mediate on things that are true, good and wholesome. It knows these things are key for then soil of our hearts. we reap what we sow. I want to be blessed my friends. I want good originating from and through my life. Life is too short to live frivolously for things that don’t matter. You won’t die wishing you were on social media, tv or texting more. You will die wishing you spent your time on what matters, unless we make pray and get intentional on making the Kingdom of God first in all things.
What we are today is the accumulation of all our thoughts. Our thoughts lead to attitudes and attitudes lead to actions. You are a sum of your most powerful thoughts. Habits come from controlling your thinking or rather focusing/ harnessing your thinking into valuable insights and truths. I want to live intentionally, not accidentally.
Long term benefit is: You can feel good about who you are.
If you don’t embrace the true path to joy, you will automatically embrace lies. Come to truth now or put yourself further from the true happiness your soul longs for.
Ways to Stay Motivated When Investing in Kingdom Values & Habits
Consider the following verses:
Mark 4:26-29 NLT
Jesus also said, "The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. [27] Night and day, while he's asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. [28] The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. [29] And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come."
This person doesnt have it all figured out. They have no idea how growth occurs. The only thing they have going for them is they have sown seed into their personal ground (the human heart) and they have no idea how it works but it does. God doesnt expect us to understand, He expects to have first place in our lives. That’s why we have worship, it reminds us that all provision, joy, peace and value originates from his hand. We don’t have to go to Egypt to have breakthrough.
God is the originator. Not you. You can be motivated that if you sow the seed, God makes it grow. He makes it work! You don’t have to be super intelligent or be the wisest. Have a persistent spirit of prayer and pursuit of God and know that truly He is pursuing you first. We love him because He first loved us!
