2 Chronicles 14:7 (MSG) Asa said to his people, "While we have the chance and the land is quiet, let's build a solid defense system, fortifying our cities with walls, towers, gates, and bars. We have this peaceful land because we sought GOD; he has given us rest from all troubles." So they built and enjoyed prosperity.

There is correlation between our seeking God and the amount of troubles we have. Yes, persecution exists but it’s also clear from the abundance of biblical promises that protection, care and safety are huge parts of God’s mind towards us.

“He has GIVEN US REST from ALL troubles”

As I recall, God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Plans to give us a hope and a future. This is the season we are heading into. I pray you would build and enjoy prosperity in your hearts and lives.
